An Office Assistant is drawing a basic pay of Rs.3,020/- as on 1-1-2006 in the existing scale of pay of Rs.2550--55—2650—60—3200. Revised scale of pay applicable to the Post of Office Assistant is Rs.4800—10000 + Grade Pay of Rs.1,300/-. His pay in the revised scale shall be fixed as follows:-

1. Existing Scale of Pay : Rs.2550—55—2660—60--3200
2. Pay Band applicable : PB-1A. Rs.4800—10000 +1300
3. Existing Basic Pay as on 1-1-2006 : Rs.3,020/-

Dear Ji, The Calculator shows without arrears for surrender leave salary, Promotions/selection/special grade awards given on or after 1-1-2006. Especially, the pay of Superintendents is also revised with effect from 12.12.2007. If the option given after 1-1-2006 i.e. after getting their periodical increments, awarding selection grade or promotions and pay revisions how can fix their pay. Please help on these items.

those who are appointed at consolidated pay on 2004, and get regularisation on 1.6.2006 are in deep condfusion about their fixation.please help us. ramanan. Erode.

it is clearly indicated that those appointed on or after 1.1.2006 the pay shall be fixed as the entry level pay in the pay band for a particular category. For eg. if a PG Asst appointed at consolidated pay on 2004 and get regularisation on 1.6.2006 his/her pay fixed in the ENTRY LEVEL PAY (i.e. 12090+grade pay 4600=16690) IN THE PAY BAND i.e 9300-34800+grade pay 4600. see page no;16. no confusion

OR
9300+4600 = 13900 ?

I HAVE JOINED AS A JUNIOR BT ON 2004 AND REGULAR SCALE FROM 1.6.2006 ONWARDS.I GOT TWO INCENTIVES FOR MY HIGHER QUALIFICATIONS.FROM PAGE NO 16 G.O I GOT LESS BENEFIT BECAUSE OF ENTRY LEVEL PAY FIXATION.THOSE WHO JOINED BEFORE 1.1.2006 AND GOT INCENTIVES THERE BASIC PAY GOT MULTIPLIED BY 1.86 FACTOR . SO THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE.PLEASE REPLY-SURESH GHS PAKKAM

Dear Baskar,
There is lot of confusions in " Entry level pay".
In the G.O it is indicated as Entry level pay in the pay band"
That means First level of the pay in the pay band of corresponding table. But Many officials told that take 9300 as entry level. So , We need clear Clarifications

Sir, if I opt to fix my pay as on 12.2.07 The follwing fixation after 1.1.06 ie on 12.2.07 may be confirmed Date of Selection Grade 12.2.07 FN pay as on 12.2.07 is Rs. 4100/- + PP.35/- + PP.164/- Total.4299/- Existing Scale of Pay is 4000 - 100 - 6000 Pay Band applicable is PB.1 5200-20200 + Rs.2400 Grade Pay. Sir i have joined as a BT Asst on 01/06/2006in the scale of Pay 5500-175-9000. I got two incentives for higher qualification that is Rs 175+Rs175=Rs 350 & Rs175+Rs175=Rs 350 (Total Rs .700/-) So 01/06/2006 my basic pay is 5500+700=Rs 6200/- Please give instruction to fix the pay.
Whether to fix with Rs5500/- or Rs6200/-

Sir, I am completing my 20 yrs. of service on 6.6.2008 and I am eligible for Special grade from 6.6.2008.
my pay in the new scale in the new pay band PB2 9300-34800 GP4300 on 1.4.2008 is Rs. 17630/- in order to
calculate the Specila Grade in the new pay band whether I had to add the grade pay with the basic on 1.4.2008
and multiply with 3% to add to the basic or calculate the basic as on 1.4.2008 with 3% and then add the GP to
fix my special Grade - request clarification

Sir, I am a College Teacher and my basic salary on 1.1.2005 was Rs.18300 and I reached the maximum point in the band 12000-18300. What is my revised basic on 1.1.2006? Am I eligible for an increment 0n 1.1.2006?

I, sunita joined an Institute where punjab govt. rules follows at that time. i joined on 11.5.90 as clerk i was given Next Higher SCale under ACP on 11.5.98 and i placed as jr. assistant on 7.7.01. from 1.1.06 the central rules are following in our institute. further on re-placement of Jr. assistant/clerk i placed again as Jr. Asstt w.e.f 9.3.98. I wisht to know how my pay fix. either i got ACP (Next Higher Scale) on completion of 8 years services or not coz it is placement not promotion. my mail id is victy555@yahoo.co.in. please write me in details at the earliest. i will be very thankful to you for this act of kindness.

sir i am working in indian railways . My basic pay was 4800- in pay scale 4000-6000 as on 1st january 2006 and and after increment in april 2006 it was 4900-. In may 2006 i was promoted in payscale 5000-8000 and a basic pay of 5150 was fixed . No I request you to please tell me my basic pay to be fixed in details as on july 2012 in sixth pay commission

Appointed in the post of clerk and promoted to assistant in9300-34900 in Grade Pay of 4300
I fall in the minimun of the scale of assistant.
the pay bands have diffrent like 4200, 4300, 4600
I fall in the pay band of 4300
for direct entry to 4300 the scale is 10100 i was promoted to the post of assistant in the payscale of 9300-34900 in Grade Pay of 4300
Should i too not get the minimun of 10100 instead of 9300?
