interm arrears has been allowed as per pension of jan 2009 ,so I have calculated the arrears by taking the da rate at 64 % where as you have received the arrears at 54 % da ,The diff is due to this only .But by calculating at 64 % my logic is that the da has been increased with retrospective effect so every body has a right to claim the enhanced interim arrears on the basis of 64 % .so I have done the interim arrears calculation on 64% da.Diff of arrears received by you and shown by me is also payable to you as Interim arrears due to enhanced rate of DA wef 01.01.2009 ie 64% from 54 %
HI Raja I have few doubts in the calculation of the Pension before 2006. Would you be able to let me know the DA table and also it will be great if you can tell me the DP percentage

The minimum service for full pension (50% of last drawn pay) is 30 years, not 33 years, as assumed in the calculator. Please clarify.

very good useful pension calculator. Banks wont inform how the pension is calculated and many would get what the Banks show in pass book, whether it is right or wrong. As u done cautiously, Govt.may advertise through papers, so that pensioners may aware what they have to get.

Dear Friend,
My father just passed away, a great Doctor who retired from TN medical services as Civil Surgeon. He retired in 1974 and lived till Age 92, though paralytic for last 8 years or so was active in his own ways. His retired Scale of Pay 1000-50-50-1150 does not figure in your Tabular Values (1-29). From his pension credit entries in his SBI Passbook I find he was drawing a pension of Rs. 446/- on retirement in 1974 and was drawing a TOTAL of Rs.8011/- from Jan,2006. His last pension in May,2011 was Rs.16291/-.
Will be grateful if you can advise what should be his pension last drawn. From his own diary entries in 2003 ( before paralytic attack) his earlier arrears per FIFTH Pay Commission has been in order. Please reply at kumar_skanda@sify.com and capt_r_k_kumar@hotmail.com......... The greatest assets he gave me was his integrity, honesty and meticulous accountability towards others. I do not want to fail him by merely accepting whatever the PPO says. Can you help?

R.K. Kumar
